Twilight-Apple? New Moon-Flower? Eclipse-Ribbon?

I never really got the covers... I didn't understand the meanings of them... I thought for Eclipse, it should have been the bracelet breakign in half, the wolf on one side, the crystal heart on the other... I would ahve liked that MUCH better for a cover... but anyways, can anyone tell me what they mean?

Twilight-Apple? New Moon-Flower? Eclipse-Ribbon?
well, in the beginning of twilight they have a quote from genisis and it talks about the tree of knowledge of good and evil which was the tree adam and eve ate the apple and the world changed but the apple was evil since it was ike from satan, but it looked so good and supposedly tasted so good...which i think the apple is suppose to be bella to edward, did that make sense? (im horrible at explaning stuff) but since shes holding the apple its like shes giving it to him, to edward.

i haven't thought too much about the other covers but since the flower is sorta upside down and the petals keep falling off it could be bella since she without edward she just lost herself so the flowers are losing its petals. you know?

so yeah, i hope i helped!

if you could understand any of it!

:)
Reply:Twilight= The apple on the cover of Twilight represents "forbidden fruit." like edward being forbidden to bella

"forbidden love"

twilight was chosen as the title beacuse that is the time of day safest for vampires... right wen the sun goes down

New Moon= The cover means nothing, The publisher chose that one nd stephenie Meyer had nothing to do with that. she doesnt understand it 2

new moon was picked at the title because when its a new moon its the darkest night

and that was the darkesdt time of bellas life since edward left

Eclipse = The broken ribbon represents choice, as in the book Bella must choose between Edward and her friendship with jacob

eclipse was chosen because jacob is like bellas sun (she said in new moon). jacob said he can handle some clouds coverin him up but he cant handle an eclipse

that bein edward

Reply:Well, she says one her site that the apple represents "forbidden fruit tastes the sweetsets" and all the stories that surround apples like Adan and Eve. I am guessing the wilting flower repressents that Bella used to be happy and brave, but now she is a shadow of what she once was and is very sad and depressed. It is like a pretty flower getting ugly. I think that the fraying ribbon is the ribbon that repressented all of the parts of her life that she was despretly trying to hold together but it is not workingc and she will have ot make a choice. That's what I think!
Reply:twilight - the apple is the forbidden fruit.

new moon - the flower doesn't really mean much but i think it's supposed to be a crying tulip, showing how bella feels

eclipse - the ribbon is bella's feelings and how she's trying to break away from her old self but it's not a clean cut, there are always the little threads. you get it? she's torn apart, basically. hope that helps!!!
Reply:I know that Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse are all signs of the vampire, but I really don't know if the apple, flower, and ribbon mean anything. I don't think they do.
Reply:The apple means forbidden fruit, the flower doesn't mean anything she just picked it, and the ribbon represents breaking ties and there can never be a clean break and Bella needs to sever some ties. It;s on her homepage.
Reply:Twilight cover - the forbidden fruit; Bella and Edwards "forbidden love"

New Moon - Not specified, the author had nothing to do with the cover,

Eclipse cover - broken ties, bellas choices: vampires or

werewolves
