Buddhist symbol meanings?

I was wondering if anyone could explain all/any of these symbols on the flower?

Buddhist symbol meanings?
This is Hindu symbolism. In Buddhism, atleast as far as the Theravada practice is concerned, a lotus of eight petals symbolises the eightfold path; no other symbols (letters, like the Sanskrit letter 'Omh' on your picture) are used.
Reply:The color and style this flower/lotus suits a Hindi theme.

The characters you see are in the sanskrit language.

The character in the center is "OM" and in a Hindi expression, it is believed to be the sound of the beginning of everything. This powerful utterance was what manifested the creation of all existence. In a sense, you can say "OM" is the illustration of the BIG BANG.

"OM" is also equivalent to the chinese pronunciation of "nan". In Mahayana Buddhism, it's "surface" meaning relates to a pause in a mantra. This pause prepares for the following lines in a mantra. NAN or OM causes all the ghosts and spirits and beings to place their palms together in obedience.

The other characters I don't know. The one on the bottom left looks like "Ti". And above it is "om" or "nan" again. I assume this is a mantra.

Just because it is sanskrit won't confirm it is hindi. This is a mantra obviously going around the flower. Maybe it's that really famous tibetan mantra... dunno how it goes. I thought it might be the mantra from Mahayana Buddhism, "OM Mani Padme Hom"
Reply:It's not Buddhist, it's Hindu.

Flowers in Buddhist art have 8 petals... symbolising the eightfold path which every Buddhist must follow.

Buddhist symbols include the eight petaled lotus flower; the wheel (with 8 spokes), and the Buddha himself.
Reply:The only symbol I recognize on the flower is the one on the center. It's called "Om," and it represents the cosmic, all encompassing sound.
Reply:The symbol in the center is not Buddhist; it is the symbol in Hinduism
