I gave a girl roses & asked her out, I heard there are meanings attached with roses & the color?

Some girls said, dont give her red, that means love, dont give her yellow, that means you cheated....so I chose orange %26amp; yellow mix. I wasnt trying to send any messages other than what I wrote on the card however Im wondering if she was thinking something else, she said yes %26amp; that she loved the flowers...but girls, what do you think if a guy sends roses to ask you out? does it mean anything?

SOME girls like to read into things, other girls just appreciate the favor. For example, a single rose is considered much more intimate than a bouquet of coloured roses.





If a guy were to send me roses to ask me out, I would find it very romantic...a bit cliche but romantic nonetheless. I mean, it's not everyday a girl gets roses!

Reply:Not sure how my answer varies from others but I would think:





"Oh, wow, he bought me flowers, he actually likes me enough to spend money on me and cares enough to write something" and "keke, maybe I'll get more presents in the future"





But! If I have no idea who the guy was...I might just get paranoid, trash the flowers and ignore the message ^^





As long as you don't give white...that's represents death in the Asian culture.

Reply:yeah like you said there are meanings behind different colours of roses such as red is supposed to symbolise love. but honestly not many girls will focus or read in to the traditional meanings of the colours. to be honest she will be so stoked to receive roses that she wont mind what colour. she sounds like she will be a lucky girl.
