Candles meanings?

Everybody knows about meaning of different flowers, say red rose love and etc, but i was thinking about wedding candles meanings? I would like to have green candles, my friend said it is mean good luck...hm...does it;s suits for wedding?

Candles meanings?
The meaning of color goes back to your spiritual connection with that color. There are general rules that go along with each color, but in the end it only matters how you feel about it. After doing years of research on new age religion as well as other religions. It seems that each religion or belief system has different (sometimes the same) associations of color. I suggest doing some research. Learn what each culture views and see which you agree with most. For example, with the Chinese red means power and fertility, in some African nations red is associated with greed and negativity! So, there is no one answer! Just do some research of your own and listen to what you heart tells you.

As for using the colors on wedding cakes, that's great. Especially if you go into it with a blessing over the candles, pray to whatever god you pray to over them hoping to draw from the colors power and use it to bless your union!

Reply:I have never heard of candle colors having any meaning, however, (typically) the wedding candles are in white. Also, as with the unity candle there should be three, two smaller one larger symbalizing two becoming one
