I need some tattoo advice?

For the past few weeks i have had all intention of getting a little hibiscus flower tattooed on my outer ankle. However i just realized that it doesnt really have any meaning to me. I thought that it did, but i thought about it and i think that i just thought that it was cute and i was just trying to make up meanings for the tattoo.

Then theres a shooting star tattoo that i wanted to get...i wanted to get it either on my ankle, or on my foot. I feel like this one has more meaning to me because stars represent an accomplishment, and i just graduated highschool. It also sends out the msg of "shoot for the stars" which i feel has a lot of meaning to me because i am going off to college and beginning my life as an adult.

So i'm sure that all of you are going to say "well obviously get the shooting star tat since it has more meaning"

but heres my Q, should i just 4get abt the hibiscus flower? Or should i still get that on my ankle, but get the shooting star first and c how it goes?

I need some tattoo advice?
I have a superficial tattoo, it's a butterfly between my shoulders. However, it is unique, because I drew it. I drew all of my tattoo's. I would follow the other girls advice and get an artist to draw something up for you. I would think about who you are now what you want to be, or what you have overcome. Think of something that represents you, and do some research, get a rendering and keep it for a while. if in a few months if you still like the idea then get that tat. My advice is getting a meaningful tat first, then go for the superficial one. The Hibiscus. The hibiscus flower is overwhelmingly recognized as a symbol for delicate beauty. Like the hibiscus flower, the lotus flower is universally accepted as a symbol of estranged love and the associated empty yearning it entails.

Good luck and Happy tattooing!
Reply:serious dont yet a tatoo it ruins your life all my friends think its gay so my tatoo i dont really want too show off while wearing my bikinee and they really hurt i thought that it would be pimpse but really it HURTS LIKE HELL if your thinking of getting one and u wear a bikinee think twice for addvice is my motto good luck
Reply:How long have you wanted to get these tattoos? Before I got mine I had someone draw it out for me. I carried the pattern in my purse for an entire year looking at it from time to time. After that year I had no reservations at all, so I did it. But let me warn you, they are very addicting. Once you get one, you'll want another.
Reply:You really want to make sure u think about both of them. Once they are on u, thats it. Dont get me wrong I have 3 and i love each one and plan to get another. You have to think about were ur going to put it because of future jobs, some dont want people to have visible tatoos were they work. They are very addictive. It will hurt, but how much all depends on who does it for u. plus try to get a tattoo artist to draw u something up so u dont end up with one that's just the same as hundreds of other peoples.
