Do you enjoy this?(read aloud)?

Hi all.I live in Iran. What do you think of these two Iranian pop musics.I've just translated them into English.Do you like them?

"The small piece of cloud who hadn't seen love, didn't know anything about love.It gives its fluffy hands to anyyone he falls in love with. With a voice full of love, the life resumes. It (life) jumps over the clouds and flies to the stars. But the one who loved it (the cloud) leaves it one day.The sky feels pitty for it.The clouds start crying.I'm that dull cloud, singing with sadness and in my solitude and nostalgia, it rains from my sadness.

The rain understood me tonight, got to know my sadness, drop by drop and word by word started to join my song."

Singer:Maryam

"My kind friend, my kind friend.

My beautiful star, my silent recluse.Grip the sun's skirt and come out of the heart of the night. My brilliant friend, the flower of the sky's bride, don't stay lightless and silent in the midnight's tent.

My kind friend, my kind friend

My sunny star, don't let the shades darken you, ignite and stay bright.Stay briiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Don't be afraid of the eye of the darkness, when it comes your way and tries to dig its fearful black hole on your way.Grip the curve of the moon light and sit down on the best night of mine.Hit the eagle of his eyes with the dart of your eye's sun.Let the air of your morning reach our alley and let the tender torch of your body break the talisman of the light.Let some light erupt in our nostalgia and let some light erupt in the heart of the melodies."

Sorry, as you know Persian is a literal language and when I try to translate it into English it may lose its meaning. You have to feel Persian Unlike English that you have to understand it word by word.Persian (Farsi) is a language full of emotion and it's a lot more easier to learn.Because it's very fluent and sweet. There are lots of concepts in Persian that are really difficult to be turned into English. For example in the above song I said "my kind friend".while we use a word that can include lots of meanings, not simply kind.So it's impossible to transfer the emotion of the Farsi sentences to you. However, I know that English has over 9000 words which makes it very difficult to learn..

Do you enjoy this?(read aloud)?
Very poetic, both of them.

My personal choice is the second over the first.

If I may say so, you seem VERY bright, and to understand language very well!

Good work! :-))

Farsi sounds so liquid and lovely and musical when spoken. I wish I understood it. I am sorry, I do not.
Reply:no
Reply:OH MY GOODNESS! You have way I mean WAY too much time on your hands! Why didn't you just go into a music studio and do all of this? You might have made some money!

Reply:I never like to read out loud ANYMORE because my friend always laughs at me. It is also a little bit of the same with presentations.

They make me too nervous. I have NO idea why we need to do these things.
Reply:thats cool
Reply:I think it sounds great
Reply:yes
Reply:i bet if i spoke youre language i would enjoy it so much, just reading it make me think of how it sounds trough youre ears
Reply:I think it sounds nice. I can imagine the difficulty with translating Farsi into English, some of the lyrics do not make sense, but then again, it was not written in English. But I think the idea behind the music is nice. Great work.
Reply:I love the way the writer personifies the cloud and the sun in these songs. Their tones are really uplifting, and the lyrics are very flowing - you don't see much creativity like that in U.S. pop music nowadays. I really enjoyed them...thanks for sharing!
Reply:Both were very beautiful and provoked emotion when I read them. I liked "the flower of the sky's bride" and "grip the curve of the moonlight" those two phrases really stuck to me for some reason. Thank you for sharing such beautiful words with us.
Reply:Pop music, huh? Guess I'd have to hear the tune. Its sounds very old fashioned. However, being extremely supsicious of Iran, the phrase "Don't be afraid of the eye of the darkness, when it comes your way and tries to dig its fearful black hole on your way.Grip the curve of the moon light and sit down on the best night of mine.Hit the eagle of his eyes with the dart of your eye's sun." Sounds like a promotion of suicide attacks (dont be afraid of the eye of the darkness..) "hit the eagleof his eyes with the dart.." (eagle? usa?) Color me paranoid.
Reply:it's interesting, but I'd like to here the original w/the music.
Reply:Hi i'm Ruth and the answer to your question is no, i do not enjoy that.
Reply:I love it! I wish our music was more like this, instead of the junk that we listen to. THANKS!!!!!!!!
Reply:I do not speak Persian but I do have a heart, and I am very caring and loving if anyone that reads this allows themselves to open up and feel...they are sure to get it...

I think it's about allowing ones self to LOVE...all the emotions that go with Love...

ignite and stay bright...don't be afraid of the darkness, when it comes your way...

It is OK to Love...but when sadness comes that's OK too...

I am kind of a glass is half full person so I stay optimistic most of the time....and i feel that is what this song represents...

I think it is a beautiful lyric and if people would open up to the words and allow themselves to read with their hearts and not just their mouth they will understand...

IT'S O-K TO FEEL....
Reply:they are both very beautiful,,,I wish I could hear the melody that goes with them
