I want to know what flowers will convey a certain meaning. My brother died last June from Brain Cancer. He was 47 yrs old.
I have googled flowers to see what they mean, but I am also interested in what you all have to say about what you have learned about certain flowers, plants, and just ideas in general of what to leave at his masoleum site (no grass or headstone, just a flower holder).
I appreciate any answers at all; none are "wrong" (of the "real" answers I get. )
Help- flower meanings for memorial?
Too many flowers to list here ... but here is a link that shows every flower A-Z and it's meaning.

Reply:Daffodils. The Daffodil is the first flower of spring, a symbol of hope, renewal, and for the American Cancer Society, the promise that one day the world will be free of cancer.
Reply:You could lavender. Lavender can represent many things.
Peace, Love, Protection, Happiness
Reply:The rest of the answers are all good. All I can add is Carnations. I used the link from the first answerer and it says what I read before. Red- Miss you/ Pink- Never Forget You/ White- Pure Love.....but read the link for a better explanation. Kudos #1 person!
(and thanks. I bookmarked that for the next time I need it.)
Also, look up lavender (or Heather) because #2 person also had a good suggestion.
Sorry for your loss too.
