I want to get 3 flowers, (all with meanings) incorporated with a tattoo but where! =] it would be 5 of 6 inches at the biggest





i was thinking my left shoulder blade but then i again i dont think it is that feminine for this art piece. lol hmmmm.....

Somewhere intimate , where you and a special someone can see it only. Kind of mysterious and if you need to hide ti one day you can. ( for Work) Maybe your lower back or a small tattoo around your navel.
Reply:I think on the shoulders, lower back or the hip area is a great place for a woman to get a tattoo and they are sexy areas as they can be hidden if you want them to be, I also think the ankle and foot are very sexy as well.

Reply:I gotta say the placement of your tattoo should reflect your personality. I find the boldest, most straight forward women have tattoos either on their shoulder or inner forearm. Something that is easily seen.





Women that get tattoos on the lower back have personalities of being promiscuous. Or at least what they want to portray.





Women with tattoos on the hips or any non visible area seem to be more conservative.





This is all my opinion from what I have personally observed. But my best advice is to get the tattoo where you think is right for you.

Reply:The most feminine places I can think of are the lower back, the hip, and the ankle. All are also fairly easy to conceal if discretion is something you are concerned about.
Reply:I have a tat of 2 flowers on my right shoulder the artist who did the work made it flow with my body structure. Its not just sitting there out of place. Point is make sure the artist is worth going to as much as the art is itself. They will help with placement no matter were. But side of foot if very pretty for flower pieces also.

Reply:The most feminine place is anywhere you want it. Except your forehead. I think a small one on your wrist, your butt cheek, ankle, right above your breast, around your navel. Cute and feminine is small. 5-6 inches is big.

Reply:Anywhere could be considered "feminine" it all depends on what you think feminine is. I currently have 3 tattoos, and plan on getting more. Like many other people have said, on your ankle is considered "feminine", I do have one above my right ankle. Word of warning if you plan on getting it there, it will bleed. My friend (he's actually my artist) has said that every girl that he's tattooed on their ankle has bled. Not to deter you from getting it there, because it is easily covered up when need be but just filling you in on it. Good Luck in deciding. If you feel that 5-6 inches might be too big for "feminine" the artist who you go to should be able to redraw your design for you in a smaller size with still keeping the elements of the design intact.

Isaac means both "he will laugh" and "laughter". I don't know any names that mean "forever" but my favorite name to go with Isaac because of meaning is Asher, it means "happy." It is number one on my boys list because 1) I think Isaac Asher is a good sounding name, but 2) I love that it means "happy laughter"





BTW I think many names have multiple meanings and you just have to pick the meaning that you like...

Reply:I could understand if the meanings suggested were completely unrelated, but basically most of those are pretty much the same thing. What's the difference between 'flower' and 'a flower'? In fact I think you're going trying too hard to find some ulterior meaning for Rose, it simply means 'rose' (which is a flower). Amy means beloved (or loved, there's not a big difference here), it's derived from the Old French 'aimée'. I think love is just a oversimplification on some site that doesn't care too much about accuracy. Same goes for Issac's (Isaac) supposed meaning laughter, it's asctually 'he laughs'. Basically a lot of the Biblical have meanings such as this. Consider Michael (who is like God) or John (God is gracious).





Edit: If you want a name that means 'forever' or something similar consider these, the meanings include forever, always and eternal (see link)

Appropriate flowers for an Indian lady?

Hi, the guy who has been making some costumes for me has a wife (Indian Lady) who is very poorly and I would like to take her some flowers when I collect my costumes, what sort would be correct, as I know in British culture that certain flowers have particular meanings, eg red roses (love) white roses (eternity) Lillies for funerals etc etc and if there are similar traditions in India I would not like to upset her by giving her something inappropriate. so any suggestions please.
